Greetings Happy and Important Human,  As of July 1 I will be leaving London Calling and going into business for myself. I will be working inside The Artery in Ferndale, located at 409 E. 9 mile. Many of you will remember the co-owner of The Artery, Ashlee who used to work with me at London Calling. She has created a beautiful, new, women-led, inclusive, and artistic creative space in downtown Ferndale and I'm so incredibly honored and excited to join her and Arianna and their artists collective when they open their new space in July. This also means I'll get to work alongside Autumn Wolff again, and I cannot wait! 

 If you have an appointment with me at London Calling after July 1, I have added you to my books at the new space, just to make sure things are as smooth for you as possible. If you would like to stay at London Calling, (or elsewhere on the east side) and need a referral, please let me know.

Please be aware that my prices have been changed to reflect not only my expertise and knowledge but also a more luxurious experience in the new space. I'll be booking longer for your haircut appointments and spending more time detailing your hair and making sure things are perfect. This price change also reflects the math of running a profitable business. Haircuts with me will now range from $50-$75 for all genders and styles. 

All hair coloring services will also see a major upgrade. I'll be using superior products and developers, as well as adding Olaplex to all my color services. Some of you will see a slight increase in your pricing, but you will also see an increase in the amount of time I take for your appointments and the quality of products and education that goes into your service. You can view my updated price list here. If this means that I might now be out of your budget, please reach out to me and I can give you some referrals to other great stylists in your area. 

 If you are not going to keep your appointment with me at the new space, please give me a heads up so I can fill the space! Hairstylists do not get paid if they do not have clients, and now that I am in business for myself, it is more important than ever for me to fill spaces in my books! You can let me know that you'd prefer not to move with me to the new space just yet by emailing me at WhiteLotusHairStudio@gmail.com, and I'll cancel your appointment with me. I'll be following up with those of you I do not hear from to confirm what you want to do regarding already booked appointments. You'll receive a text message reminder a couple of days before your appointment as well.

I imagine you'll also be hearing from someone at London Calling regarding rescheduling your appointment with me if you're in the books for after my last day of work there. Please keep in mind that losing a stylist is stressful for a salon owner and the team, so be patient with Norm and the girls as they navigate supporting a friend in their new endeavor and doing what is best for their business.
